“Water is Life!”

“Water is life” is an adage in the African culture, and our African indigenious people in this remote village in the Takolata area in Guinea, where most of them do not have this life.

Currently the "bush" is being used by the village. The “Bush“ is nothing more than large bushy grassland/forestry that are in the village. The village people use the brush, and in turn struggle with a lot of accidents, unsafe, non-hygienic, and unsanitary ways to clean themselves up, hence, going “number one“ and “number two“ are done inappropriately and dehumanizing in most cases. The need for running waters and latrines are dire for these people to escape diseases.

In the midst of abject poverty, superstitious beliefs, and poor hygiene, the Takolata area is surrounded by polluted faraway rivers and diseased infected areas. The ignorance with the acceptability of frequent deaths in the village(s), and religious darkness/backwardness has left the people in Guinea in fear and alone. Christ's Harvesters has been burdened to show and provide the light of God with the love of Jesus Christ to these hungry souls as quickly as possible/on an ongoing mission.

How? We need you!

Water is life. The need for multiple Water Wells through infrastructural development is imperative for our survival. This will promote community development by providing sustainable water sources and reducing health risks associated with contaminated water.

She said ," I am here for a long hall.Called by God. I love my people. Come and help us. We have no latrines. I am pioneering 50 Guineans native children. No Latrines for the girls and boys. Whenever anyone of us  get pressed, we use the 'bush'. No water to use. Clean water is not  affordable. Very poor hygiene. We all got sick quite often. Please help us with well water and latrine. We need you and do not delay.

God bless you.” - Zichat
